Sally Sheinman latest work was a sculpture
that represents the infinite possibilities of the
individual. The work took the form of two, 200-foot long
paper sculptures. Each was made of approximately 25,000
pieces of hand-painted gold and hand-cut Japanese rice
paper, which symbolize the number of genes believed to be
in the human genome. This massive and beautiful gold paper
chain is symbolic of what makes all humans.
